I am talking about x-raying the beauty and splendor of some
illustrious women in the Nigerian political realm. We would be looking
at 6 of the most beautiful women in government and it is in this
particular order.
6. ABIKE DABIRI
This former TV gal who dived into the uncertainty of politics after
an illustrious career in Broadcasting is gorgeous with her riveting
dark skin that buttress the popular saying that ‘’Black is beautiful’’
But it is important to note that Ms Dabiri is not particularly known for
her looks rather her trade mark is humanitarian driven especially
regarding the Girl child and the professionalism in the Media. The
lawmaker representing Ikorodu federal constituency in the House of
Representatives still resonates style, elegance and finesse in her dress
sense and carriage.
5. ROLLI BODE GEORGE
Though she is still very new to the Nigerian Media and populace
particularly from the fact that until June 2014, when President Jonathan
made her the Director General of the National Drug Law Enforcement
Agency (NDLEA), she was an obscure figure in the National Population
Commission (NPC). That notwithstanding, she is attracting attention not
just for her appointment but also for her good sense of class. Many even
attributed this to the fact that she is a beautician extraordinaire.
Hence she made our list.
4. DR KEMA CHIKWE
This Mbaise born politician has been around for many years having
had different stints as Minister of Transport, Aviation and one time as
Ambassador to Republic of Ireland and she is presently the National
Women Leader of the PDP. She has variously been described as one of the
most powerful women in politics. Whatever portfolio she demands, she
simply gets. You can take anything away from Ms Chikwe, but her beauty
even at almost 60, still keeps tongues wagging. How many women remain
this beautiful in their 40s let alone at her age?
3. CHRISTY ANYANWU
The Broadcaster cum Politician is no doubt a paragon of beauty
little wonder she was able to hold her own whilst on the screen. This
Senator from Imo state is best remembered as that female Journalist that
was sentenced to life in Prison by the Abacha led Military junta in1995
and subsequently received numerous international awards for brave
journalism. Whenever she is on screen during plenary at the Senate, few
would believe she is presently in her 6os.
2. DIEZANI ALLISON MADUEKWE
Agreed, she could easily pass as a controversial figure. Love or
loathe her, no one can discountenance the face that this Bayelsa born
politician is a beauty personified. Her eyes and her stunning figure are
conspicuously the cynosure of all eyes even amidst her disagreements
with the Media and indeed the general populace. Apart from her famed
elegance and panache, her accolades include been the first woman
Director at SHELL Petroleum and the first and only female Petroleum
minister.
1.OLUREMI TINUBU
Many would say she is not a politician in her own right. She got
the ticket to represent Lagos Central at the Senate as a result of the
influence of her husband, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. But the fact remains, she
is extremely beautiful. Knowing she is over 50 leaves no one in doubt
as regards her beauty. Her facial beauty is almost second to none. She
recently caused a stir when she lambasted the leadership of the Senate.
